Belgian Eden Hazard, the Real Madrid and Chelsea star, announced his retirement from football today, Tuesday, after a long, successful career.
Hazard wrote on his official Instagram account: “After 16 years inside the green rectangle, and playing more than 700 matches between clubs and national teams, I have decided to end my career once and for all.”
Hazard continued: “I succeeded in achieving my dream, and I played in many stadiums around Europe and the world, and I was fortunate to work with wonderful coaches and distinguished players throughout my coaching career.”
